My wife and I own a second home in Austin, a bungalow built in the 1930’s. When I noticed some buckling in my wood floors, I called an architect friend and asked his recommendation for someone to help with what I suspected was a water infiltration issue. He recommended Scott Lockhart, who he said was an expert in dealing with water issues. Scott visited our house and came up with a comprehensive plan. His team insulated and sealed the underside of the wood floor, which was previously open to the ground below the pier and beam foundation. He and his team resolved the grading around our house to provide proper site drainage and made a number of other improvements, all done in a first-rate fashion. Scott worked with top-notch craftsmen and oversaw all the work. He provided regular videos to keep us informed on the progress of the work and provided us with a lifetime transferrable warranty. He fixed our house and extended its life. If you have water issues and want your work done right, I strongly recommend Scott and his team!

Scott and his crew were great to work with. Scott is very knowledgeable concerning drainage problems and solutions. The work they did to prevent heavy rain events flooding my shop was the right solution. I did solicit other proposals, but they were not as comprehensive nor did they provide any guarantee. Scott was not the least expensive, but I have no problem paying a bit more for the job to be done correctly the first time and backed by his guarantee that if it fails, he will be back to fix it.

I have known Scott for years and have known his stellar crew who have been with him for years. They have done everything from home repairs, home improvements and landscaping design and installation. Their specialty is water drainage which was a major challenge for our hillside house with a steep drop off to our neighbors’ houses.
